Data we collect

The website does not include account registration, contact forms, reservations or online ordering.

If you consent to cookies, we collect visit statistics such as pages viewed, referral source, device and browser type, and approximate location at country and city level.

Microsoft Clarity may also create session recordings that include clicks, scrolling and cursor movement. These recordings provide an anonymised replay of the visit, and content entered into input fields is masked.

If you do not consent, the analytics tools are not activated and no data is collected for these purposes.

Purpose and legal basis

The data is processed to analyse website usage and improve the user experience. It is not used for marketing, profiling or targeted advertising, and it is not sold to third parties.

Processing is based on your explicit consent under Article 5(1) of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). You may withdraw your consent at any time by following the method described in the Cookie Policy.

Sharing and transfers abroad

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are used to measure visit statistics. Data may be processed on these service providers' servers outside Türkiye and may be subject to their respective privacy policies.

Any transfer abroad is based on your explicit consent under Article 9 of the KVKK. If you do not consent, no data is processed or transferred for these purposes.

Retention period

Analytics data is deleted when the applicable retention period expires. This period does not exceed one year.

Your cookie choice and theme preference are not sent to a server. They are stored locally in your browser and remain on your device until you delete them.

Your rights and how to apply

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about the processing, request correction or deletion, object to the processing, and seek compensation for any damage you have suffered.

You may submit your application to the postal address above or to info@mapidocafe.com, together with information sufficient to verify your identity and a clear description of your request. Applications are handled free of charge within thirty days at the latest, depending on their nature. You may also lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
